Peg Butterfly

Create this Peg Butterfly! Children can practice their fine motor skills through folding and threading throughout this DIY project.

What you'll need:

Collect everything you'll need for this project, including a little cup of water to rinse your brush!
Use your pastels to draw shapes and patterns on your piece of paper. The paper size doesn't matter.
Now use your paints to add an extra pop of colour.
Begin to fold your piece of paper in a concertina fold.
Once your paper is completely folded, cut your straws into smaller lengths.
Glue the google eyes to the sides of the peg. Have fun with your sweet paper butterfly.
Use your peg to attach the antennae to your butterfly body.
